Ernie is a Senior Director of Account Services at National University and a performance-minded leader with 20 years of experience guiding creative teams. He believes great leaders build environments where people learn, grow, and step up. This is the same philosophy he now brings to our Scouts as Den Leader. Off the clock, Ernie loves ordering ridiculous items from infomercials, trades boardrooms for desert trails, and enjoys cheering on Cubs who discover they really can “get things done” together.
Randy originated from a small town in western Kentucky where he grew up spending most of his time outdoors. He has two kids currently in the scout program and is very driven to bring the best experiences possible for them and the pack. He is a licensed aircraft mechanic and has worked at The Boeing Company for over 20 years on the Apache helicopter program. During his career he traveled to multiple locations for Boeing working directly with the U.S. Army, to include a 1 year deployment to Iraq with 1/82nd Airborne Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His primary focus in life is his beautiful wife and their children. He is currently a Little League coach, and has coached youth soccer in the past. Within scouts he has been a den leader, outdoor coordinator, assistant cub master, and now the current cub master for Pack 101. He and Ernie both share the vision of scouting “Back to Basics” approach and providing an experience that will last a lifetime.
